1. Freeway's FTP upload now works with servers which omit the "group" field in the file listing.
2. Fixed a crash when publishing a page which uses GIF Paragraph text within an HTML box.
3. Actions which are used on the Master page now output and save correctly.
4. Fixed some problems when importing images with custom ColorSync profiles with ColorSync 3. (ColorSync 3 is included with Mac OS 9)
5. Removed all code which could potentially access the Mac OS File Control Block (FCB) directly. These calls are no longer supported in Mac OS 9. In practice, Freeway did not make any calls which are incompatible with Mac OS 9 but some compatibility programs were flagging a potential problem in Freeway.
6. Some other changes were made to facilitate the localization of Freeway into other languages.
Freeway 2.0.2 Release Notes
Feature changes
1. Added another item to the menu for Tile Vertically. This was previously accessible by holding down Shift and selecting Tile
2. Curly quotes (inserted with Option-Shift-[ etc) in HTML text are now output using the correct HTML code rather than translated to "dumb quotes".
3. The FTP Upload dialog has a "Save FTP log" option which saves an FTP log in the application directory. The log file is normally called "ftp.log", but if several uploads are happening simultaneously, or "ftp.log" is open in another application (so Freeway cannot write to it), additional log files called "ftp1.log", "ftp2.log" etc. are created. Log data is appended to existing log files (i.e. previous log files aren't overwritten). The setting of the FTP log option in the Upload dialog is rememberd as a global (application) preference rather than a document preference.
68K version
1. Fixed general instability problems in 68K version
2. Fixed a bomb when splitting frames in the 68K version
3. Clicking on a folder when colour palette open in 68K version does not cause a bomb
Actions
1. Fixed a problem where Actions in a document would become "detached" from those in the Actions folder, if the Action was moved to another Action file. This meant that changes in the Action file would no longer affect the Actions in the document.
2. Also, if two Actions of the same name were stored in the same Action file and both used in a document, this could cause a crash if one of the Actions had been deleted from the Action file next time the file was opened
3. Freeway Actions applied to tables can now be accessed in the Inspector palette
4. Fixed a crash when copy/pasting an Action with a URL parameter between documents
5. Fixed an error opening a file from Freeway 2.0p2 (preview version) which contained a Rollover, when the graphic files used were not available
6. Generates-form and generates-link now work with Action items
7. Action names are not drawn for items with a border
8. When several Actions of the same type appear on a page, sometimes the filename parameters would be output incorrectly if some of the Actions didn't have files set for all their parameters. This could happen with the "Slave Image" Action.
9. Applying a rollover to an item on the master page, the rollover is now correctly output on the site pages.
10. Page Actions with links now get the correct relative path, so that they can link to pages in other folders.
11. The Rollover Button Action Item (from the Tools palette) no longer outputs ALT text incorrectly as <$Alt Text$>
12. The Flash Action now displays content when viewed locally in the browser
13. The background sound Action no longer causes content to be moved down in the browser window

Anchors
1. Fixed some general instability when using/modifying/deleting anchors. Sometimes the anchor would be removed, and references to the anchor would not be completely removed, which would cause a crash later on. This could happen when:
a) Applying/Undoing style changes to the text with the anchor
b) Removing an anchor with references
c) Changing a box with an anchor into an HTML item
d) Using Find/Replace/Spelling on items with anchors
e) Changing the name of an anchor
f) Changing the master page of an item containing an anchor
g) Changing inline GIF text in an HTML box to HTML text when there is an anchor, and undoing
h) Copy/pasting a table cell with an anchor in it over itself
i) Making a page with anchors into a master page, and inserting pages based on it
2. Anchor links now work from text in GIF boxes
FTP Upload
1. Freeway can upload to WebStar and NetPresenz FTP servers which have a non-standard listing format.
2. Freeway can upload to FTP servers which give a non-standard response to the MKD (make directory) command.
3. Progress text in the upload dialog is redrawn when changed. Previously, with file upload, the progress strings could remain unchanged if no files were uploaded.
4. TCP operations time out after 60 seconds.
5. Better error messages: Freeway reports "Cannot connect because the FTP host is not responding" instead of "Cannot upload because of a TCP error" if the FTP server doesn't respond.
6. The upload window disiplays "Connecting to [host name]" instead of "Connecting..." when it is connecting to an FTP server.
Find/Replace/Spelling
1. Fixed a problem where Freeway would only find text in the current item or the one following it. Ditto for spelling.
2. Freway now finds text/checks spelling in a selected item when "item/story" range is selected (previously it only found the text if there was a text selection).
3. Freeway restarts the spelling check properly when the user starts checking spelling. Previously it would carry on checking from where it was last used. This caused the following problems: (1) Freeway would bomb if the item which was last checked had been deleted. (2) Item/story range would be ignored. (3) Freeway would sometimes check the wrong document!
4. Save/Revert is now enabled when words are corrected by the spelling checker.
5. Change All now works in the spelling
6. Fixed a problem finding special characters (eg option-minus)
Graphics
1. Image maps can now be used on inline graphics
2. JPEGs (except layer items) in transparent boxes will now include whatever is underneath graphics or page background image - instead of blocking out in the page background colour.
3. The "Locate" button in the Graphic File dialog will not allow plug-in and other pass-through content files to be selected as replacements for editable graphics.
4. Freeway will not update an editable graphic with non-graphic content if the original graphic file has been replaced with a non-graphic file of the same name.
5. Fixed a fatal error when trying to output an animation with some empty frames
6. Freeway now optimizes animated GIFs which contain only a single frame by creating a non-animated GIF
7. Fixed a problem which could cause the dimensions of a graphic to be incorrect on output so that it would contain extra space
8. Opening GIFs with optimized transparent colours that aren't included in the GIF palette (eg some from Fireworks) no longer causes a crash. If these didn't crash, they sometimes wouldn't show correct colours.
9. Fixed a problem where graphics on volumes which are not available would continually bring up a dialog to mount the volume when graphics preview was on and they were off screen at the time
10. Fixed a problem where some transparent GIFs were not displayed and published transparently.
Text flow
1. Fixed a crash when growing/shrinking text which flows between two linked boxes
2. Freeway will no longer allow flow-linking between boxes on different pages.
3. Selecting a flow-linking tool with no pages in the document no longer bombs
4. Fixed a bomb when re flow-linking 3 items already linked, but in a different order
Styles
1. Fixed a crash when undoing/redoing setting a style at the cursor, typing and deleting text
2. CSS "space before" and "space after" does not affect non-CSS pages in Freeway

4. Fixed a problem where applying alignment sometimes wouldn't work, and sometimes would affect more lines than it should
5. When editing styles and the style becomes a paragraph style, it no longer causes a crash after okaying the dialog.
6. Tabbing order of paragraph CSS attributes in Edit Styles dialog was wrong
Fonts
1. Fixed a problem where type 1 fonts would be bitmapped if used for HTML text
2. Font styles (eg Helvetica Bold) are no longer ignored if selected as a screen font for HTML text
3. The fonts which are installed with Explorer 4.5 are now available for use in Freeway.
Copy/Paste
1. Fixed a crash when pasting a page when a frameset was selected
2. Fixed a bomb cutting and pasting the only master page in the document
3. Prevent pasted pages from having the same HTML filename as another page as they will be overwritten without warning on output
4. Fixed an error when copying and pasting pages which have a background
5. Fixed a problem copying a page with custom link colours - the colours were not correctly copied.
6. Fixed a problem copying text between Tex Edit and Freeway - this may also be causing a crash, but we couldn't reproduce that here.
HTML output
1. Freeway strips out null characters on text import and output. They cause the content of the HTML page not to be displayed in Netscape.
2. Hidden fields which are longer than 255 characters are no longer truncated on output
3. Coloured HTML layer items which are smaller than 100x100 pixels now get displayed in Explorer.
4. HTML-4 pages can now be centred in Explorer.
5. We now write invisible GIFs instead of spacers so that cell borders will be drawn in Explorer, for non-empty table cells smaller than 100x100
6. Flexible-width items now grow the page to a maximum width which is the greater (not lesser) of 1536 pixels or the page width plus 500 pixels.
7. Fixed a problem with the output order of HTML tags for text styling, which caused display problems in the browser
File Names
1. Fixed a bug where some resource files (eg QuickTime movies) could get the wrong file extensions after changing the site structure (eg adding a folder to the site.)
2. Also Background images sometimes got named with page filenames ("index.html" etc.) if the site folder structure changed
3. Fixed a filename corruption problem when DOS filenames is on, and "Make default" is selected in the preferences dialog. This would cause the maximum filename length to be set to 0, which would cause filename corruption if the file was later changed to use non-DOS filenames.
Other
1. Fixed a bomb when switching pages after scrolling in a frame
2. Made sure that Split Horizontal/Vertical and Add Frame are disabled when appropriate. Sometimes these would be enabled in situations where they would cause a crash
3. A watch cursor will no longer appear in 8.5 when sticky menus are used in Freeway
4. Exporting a page as GIF (etc.), would put a black line along the left and top edges - for the screen page border.
5. Drag/drop of links now works from MacOS
6. Fixed a crash when grids dialog is displayed with no pages in the document
7. Fixed a problem where an empty markup item would generate garbage text
8. Fixed an error in text which could lead to a corrupted file
9. If you give an oval box a coloured border and then click in it to edit, the black edit border and the real border have their colours swapped
10. Fixed a bomb when deleting a number of folders which contain items with links to one another. Freeway would try to recalculate the text in deleted items
11. Non-antialiased text in transparent boxes is no longer clipped
12. Fixed a problem where opening up a file from a stationery would sometimes fail to publish anything unless "Publish Everything" was selected.
13. Fixed a crash when publishing the Surf site from the Freeway 1 CD.
14. If a graphic item which is too large is inserted into a table cell, and caused an overflow, undoing does not cause the whole page content to disappear.
15. Fixed a bomb sending backward items already at the back
16. Fixed a bomb when clicking on the page and changing colour very quickly using the colour palette - the selection had not yet completely changed.
